Director Troy Nixey and Guillermo Del Toro present this sweet looking little remake of the 1973 euro-horror film.  Stylistically it would appear they’re going for old school thrills, not unlike the much ballyhooed film Trick R’ Treat (an entirely entertaining Creepshow like homage in its own right).

If leaving The Hobbit means Del Toro has more time to sink his teeth into projects like this and At the Mountains of Madness, then I’m all for it.  It’s a shame all the same we’ll have to wait for the cinema wastelands of January to see this!
