“I’m Still Here” is the Casey Affleck directed documentary starring Joaquin Phoenix… attempting to start a career as a rapper. Apparently the last year and change of acting batshit insane from Phoenix has all been in service of this film. Now that the lawsuits are rolling in (a twofer of sexual harassment suits for Casey Affleck), so are the promo materials.
I like the poster, even if it looks like something whipped up for Vanity Fair. The big question is whether or not a movie about an actor and director losing their shit on purpose will be even remotely watchable.
“I’m Still Here” plops into theaters September 10th.
