Code of Conduct

The Philly IGDA strives to be a safe, inclusive community that welcomes a diversity of views. Healthy, respectful discussion is encouraged, provided it remains civil, professional, and appropriate. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, religion, or any other personal expression. We do not tolerate harassment of members or participants in any form.

Harassment includes, but is not limited to, offensive verbal comments related to gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, age, or religion; sexual images in public spaces; deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording; sustained disruption of talks or other events; and inappropriate physical contact or unwelcome sexual attention. If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the Philly IGDA Board of Directors immediately. Reports can be made to IGDAPhilly@gmail.com.Violations of the Code of Conduct are evaluated by the Board of Directors who determine appropriate punishment, if any, in their sole discretion.

We expect all members and participants to follow this code of conduct at all Philly IGDA chapter spaces and related events, including our online channels.
