Steven

The founder and owner of this “fine” website. He has been obsessed with pop-culture since he was born when he sung into a fake microphone to the TV show Kid’s Incorporated. He majored at Temple University for film and tries to watch at least 5 movies a week.

Favorite film as a child – Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom – I apparently was too young to figure out I should be watching the other two…

Favorite film presently – Blue Valentine – Ryan Gosling is one of the greatest actors ever. I leave this movie sad as hell but it’s just too good not to see.

Currently Listening to - (1/14) Fitz and the Tantrums – “MoneyGrabber” Pop R&B is like crack for me.

Would most likely be mistaken for – Peter Sarsgaard, except for that whole creeping on younger women thing….

Don

Don is usually - listening to MSNBC so he can boil over with outrage at the latest Glen Beck/Sarah Palin hate-mongering.

Don Malvasi is an angry yet insightful child of the 60′s, who has a constant psychological need to immerse himself in the otherness of quality films. Using nothing but the highest standards of the black-and-white era and contemporary international auteurs, he seeks the next great flick while tossing aside as bothersome trifles the numerous pretenders.

Favorite Current movie – Don’s favorite current movie is Blue Valentine because he feels it reaches a rare truth in relationship portrayal, with two breathtaking performances that give their characters a perfect moral equivalency.

Favorite Classic Film – Don’s favorite classic is Wuthering Heights since it contains what he considers possibly the best single performance in movie history in Laurence Olivier’s Heathcliff.

Would most likely be mistaken for - Don is visually most confused with Father Guido Sarducci of Saturday Night Live fame when people aren’t mistaking him for Frank Zappa.

Zack

Zack is a junior film major at Temple University, studying Film and Media Arts with a minor in Business. He has always loved movies and TV since a young child, and always believed that watching movies has gotten him through some of the more stressful times in life. He likes almost all genres of film, particularly sci-fi, comedy and thrillers. Zack spent the semester of fall 2010 studying abroad in London, which he sites as an amazing experience that changed how he views the world and the important things in life. He has aspirations for becoming a film producer or working for a studio.

Favorite Film as a Child: Star Wars- an amazing sci-fi adventure that was watched dozens of times by Zack, and has remained one of his favorite films over the years.

Favorite Film presently: Kick-Ass- Watching this film for the first time was one of the most entertaining and exhilarating movie theater experiences Zack has had in years, and still feels that way each time he watches it. Zack worked on the Philadelphia promotion for the film in the spring of 2010.

Currently Listening to: Tron: Legacy soundtrack! or Jimmy Eat Worlds’ new album Invented.

Would most likely be mistaken for: I guess Daniel Radcliffe…. aka HARRY POTTER!!
